On October 25, a series of special events will be hosted at Suwon Hwaseong Fortress. Along with regular performances of Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, Suwon Hwaseong Fortress Special Performance Day will also be comprised of a religious service commemorating the Royal Birthday of King Jeong-jo and martial arts performance on horseback. The religious service for Royal Birthday of King Jeong-jo, the 22nd King of the Joseon Dynasty, will start from noon at Hwaryeongjeon of Hwaseong Temporary Palace(Hwaseong Haenggung) to commemorate the 262th anniversary of his royal birth. The special martial arts performance on horseback will be held at Suwon Hwaseong Fortress Yeonmudae, starting from 3pm. The audience will enjoy perfect displays of 24 martial arts including 18 martial arts on ground and 6 martial arts on horseback. Furthermore, ‘Harmony Concert’, an event where the audience can enjoy the harmony of paintings, stories and performances, will commence from 2pm at Sinpungnu in Hwaseong Temeporary Palace. ○ Date : October 25th (Saturday) ○ Venue : Hwaseong Temporary Palace(Hwaseong Haenggung), Suwon Hwaseong Fortress Yeonmudae |
