“Voice Caves in the City” consists of improvisation of 3 voices happening in 3 adjacent spaces. While going through 3 spaces, the audience has an experience of participating in a sort of ritual, which has been repeated for a long time. The audience escapes for a while from the insensitive state prevalent in daily life by going through the processes of listening to delicate sound, which is not perceived in everyday life (Chapter 1), newly hearing the routine urban sound through silence (Chapter 2) and singing together along with the sounds deeply repressed beneath (Chapter 3).

MOMSORI experiments “voices” as an art material in earnest leading the entire process of creation, and carries out creation while paying attention to not only songs and voices, but also voices prior to the state of turning into songs and words, and the possibilities of voices as intrinsic energy of living things. In particular, they carry forward creation works by focusing on physical and direct effects of which the wave of sound is given to the audience.
