Introduction of Work

From the vivid scenes of the ongoing climate crisis!
With the keywords of movement, near-surface environment, and microbes, the artist starts his personal narrative to demonstrate the aspect of the desperate world that is sending an SOS. The artist says that the first place affected is the reality of the socially disadvantaged. The act of making pancakes (jeon) and sharing them with others creates an intimate atmosphere encouraging a friendly conversation. Vapor rises from the iron plate like a thick fog that blocks even the closest view, while the reclaimed land erases traces of life and rivers and mountains blaze.

※ Disabled-accessible for hearing-impaired and mobility-impaired. The elderly & the infirm, and children accompanied by guardians can attend.

Introduction of Group

‘Yoon Jongyeoun’ intends to find memories beneath the surface of the water by arranging objects and the body. The artist’s triology of solo exhibitions starting with 'The byway to happiness (2020),''The weight he has (2021)' and 'In A Moving World (2022)' is a faithful record and observation of his creative world. By taking a long breath to explore a personal life and thoughts, maybe also by twisting the previous knowledge, the artist tries to read the narrative of the time from the personal narrative in a macro-perspective manner.
