“Saebit Dongnak: Suwon Hwaseong, Blooming in Light”

2026 Suwon Hwaseong Media Art presents “Saebit Dongnak: Suwon Hwaseong, Blooming in Light,” a nighttime media art festival set against the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Suwon Hwaseong.

This year’s festival brings to life the stories of people across the history of Suwon Hwaseong through a vibrant spectrum of light.

Under the theme of Saebit Dongnak, visitors are welcomed with new light (Saebit) and invited to share and enjoy the night together (Dongnak).

Experience Suwon Hwaseong in a new light through large-scale media art, immersive visual experiences, performances, and interactive programs across Hwaseomun, Janganmun, and Jangan Park.

* Media Art: An art form that uses various media technologies to create and communicate artistic experiences with audiences.
