Introduction of Work

The fox and the stork from Aesop’s Fables have conflicts by not being able to respect the difference of the other part and not accepting different culture through the dinner invitation. Many years later, in 2019 (at present), the fox and the stork meet again to clear up misunderstanding. Would it be ever possible to successfully finish dinner this time? Would they respect culture and ideology of the other part this time? Can they possibly talk about the past errors with each other in a straightforward manner and resolve the misunderstanding? Can they create harmony of coexistence?

Introduction of Group

Theater Seoulkedam was founded in 2010. They ask a question to the modern-day people by shedding new light on absurd phenomena of the modern city in the form of scary /ghost stories. They come out of the closed theater, and in the street or a specific place, they talk about “individual problems in the community” by trying experimental theaters based on a new form. Theater Seoulkedam understands anxiety and suffering of the alienated and pays attention to the hidden issues through creation and performances.
