Suwon Cultural Foundation

The Hanok Technology Exhibition Hall was opened in September 2017 to promote the uniqueness and excellence of Hanok buildings. It introduces the public to Hanok structures from the past and present with history lessons on our traditional Hanok structures, and it also showcases new Hanok buildings infused with modern technology. The Exhibition Hall features two halls with media components and activity components for specifically themed exhibitions, and a multi-purpose room for special lectures and hands-on experience activities involving Hanok technology. The entire facility is geared towards laying the foundation for popularizing Hanok buildings and technology. The first exhibition hall offers information on Hanok, Hanok technology, and new Hanok research, while the second exhibition hall offers information regarding the overall process of building new Hanok buildings as well as data on Hanok buildings within the Suwon-si area.
