Students will learn the history of Suwon Hwaseong in an easy and enjoyable manner with the help of a culture and tourism commentator, and watch a performance by Muye 24-ki featuring the best of the best martial arts from the Joseon Dynasty.
Not only that, students will enjoy a ride on the Hwaseong Train and experience the achievements and spirit of King Jeongjo by shooting arrows using traditional bows. In particular, students have a chance to wear hanbok (traditional Korean outfits) at the Courtesy Education Hall in Sejong city and take part in traditional etiquette and tea ceremonies to learn about King Jeongjo’s love for his people and filial piety.
Little King Jeongjo Academy is open to all primary school students across the country from grades 3 to 6. To participate in the program, each student will be charged KRW 20,000.
