The three libraries of Seulgi Sam, Jihae Sam, and Barun Sam that belong to Children’s Library will begin a book lending service for preschoolers and elementary children from the 17th of the month. Through the service they can borrow books that are recommended by Bookstart Korea and Children’s Library. Preschoolers will read books according to the three reading packs designed by Bookstart Korea. The three packs are Bookstart, Bookstart Plus, and Bookstart Treasure Box. The elementary children will read books according to the two reading programs made by Children’s Library. One is for lower grades and the other is for upper grades. Each of the three libraries will prepare 100 Eco bags that contain a list of the recommended books and three books. People can use this service at Ongdal Sam (for preschoolers) on the first floor and Durae Sam (for elementary) on the second floor.

This service aims to increase children’s interest in books and support parents’ selection of books for their children.
